Today I found out I will be staying in Year 4. So happy, I love this year group 💗

I left my last school at Easter feeling so depleted. I joined a new school full of nerves. Today I was offered a permanent position at that school. I cannot describe the feeling of getting that spark back ✨ #newjob

I really wasn’t prepared for how emotional it would be to say bye to the parents of my first ever class. Hearing how much they appreciate the effort put in means the world.

I was dreading teaching puberty to my Y3s but they were so mature with the odd giggle here and there. They came out of it saying how they understand the importance of knowing how the body changes for when it happens to them. Super happy.

Hate having to tell children I’m leaving when they tell me how they hope I’m their teacher next year. I am going to miss the children at my current school so much 😖

Feeling a bit down that there’s very few jobs out near me meaning I don’t have a job for September. I spent Friday chatting with a supply company who should have something for me but such a worry to not have a position 🥲
