I have a friend at work who traveled from NC to New York every month for cancer treatments. A few months ago, she broke down on the interstate in NC, and a really awesome State Trooper helped her out big time! Here’s what she said:

'On my way back from chemotherapy treatment in NYC on Sunday, my car broke down just an hour outside Wilmington. Roadside assistance couldn’t find a tow truck company open in that area—small towns in the South on a Sunday, you know? They told me to call 911.

Trooper Garganus came to the rescue! He put water in my car and followed me for 5 miles to a gas station, but the pump was completely dry again. He filled it up again and noticed the overflow connection was cracked. He even handmade a part to fix my coolant pump just enough for me to get back to Wilmington.

My phone battery died, and he charged my phone in his car and gave me a portable charger he had never used so I could call for help if I got stuck again. He followed me for another 20 miles to make sure I was okay. He spent about an hour and a half with me, making sure I was alright

A college student is being praised as a HERO after she saw 3 little girls drowning in Lake Washington, jumped in, and saved ALL THREE GIRLS.

The last one was UNCONSCIOUS, underwater, tangled in a rope, only her hair was still floating.

All 3 SURVIVED!!!! ❤️

Her name is Lillie Vehling.

She is an engineering student at UC Davis and an attacker on the women's water polo team.

She was in Seattle for a summer internship and went to Seafair for the very first time, sitting at Genesee Park waiting on the Blue Angels with a book in her hands.

Then she scanned the water.

Three girls were out past the buoy line, bobbing, screaming, going under. She is a certified lifeguard who started her own swim lesson program, so she knew exactly what she was looking at.

One of the girls was pushing the other two under just to get a breath.

That is when she went in.

She grabbed that girl first, to stop her from taking the other two down with her. Got her to shallow water. Went back for the second one.

Then she went back a third time.

By then the third girl was already gone under.

Lillie: "I just saw her black hair in the water barely floating."

The child was unconscious AND tangled in the rope of a buoy she had been clawing at to save her own life.

Lillie got an arm under her, lifted her head out of the water, and hauled her to shore.

The little girl coughed up the lake and came back.

Seattle Fire paramedics met them on the beach. One girl went to Seattle Children's Hospital in stable condition.

All three lived.

Seafair's president found her that same day. Her first question was whether Lillie was okay. Her second was whether she could give her a hug.

That night they brought her to the gala and knighted her "Lady Guardian of Lake Washington."

Admirals lined up to meet her.

And Lillie? She is chasing a career in the nuclear Navy.

Seafair's president says she hopes the next time Lillie comes back to that lake, it is in a Blue Angels cockpit.

"To save three people, I didn't think twice about myself."

GOD BLESS Lillie Vehling, and GOD BLESS the firefighter who raised her.

A 13-year-old boy in Utah has just spent his ENTIRE SUMMER building a custom wheelchair for a 21-month-old baby girl he's never met.

His name is Zac Waters.

He watched a YouTube channel about 3D printing and decided he wanted to do something with it.

So he found MakeGood, a nonprofit that 3D prints assistive devices for people with disabilities, and got to work.

He spent over 300 HOURS, designing, printing, testing. and assembling.

...but he didn't just build a chair, he custom-designed it specifically for her

He custom printed pink accents, because pink is her favorite color.

He built her a removable cupholder and tray table. He designed a space in the back for heavier medical equipment.

He gave her soft, bendable straps so they don't dig into her, he even designed an adjustable footrest and headrest so it grows with her as she does.

When they asked him why he did it, he said it combines his two favorite things in life: 3D printing and helping people in need.

He's THIRTEEN YEARS OLD.

The Minnesota Attorney General’s Office and Ramsey County Attorney’s Office together have filed lawsuits to keep two rival Somali gangs away from the Minnesota State Fair when it starts later this month.

The two lawsuits filed in civil court came to light on Friday and seek injunctions against “Muddy,” “The Ville,” and 10 named affiliates to keep them from carrying out gang activity inside or outside the immediate area of the fairgrounds.

The court documents allege that the “criminal gangs” constitute a “public nuisance” and have been connected to multiple violent incidents across the Twin Cities, including a triple shooting outside the fairgrounds in 2024, chaos and brawls at the State Fair last year, shots fired at Burnsville High School’s graduation last year, and a shooting that occurred during the Metro State graduation near Grand Casino Arena in St. Paul this spring.
