The makers mark shown on this sallet is the Coat of Arms of Hans Blarer the Younger, the Blarer family being prominent burghers and armor makers that worked exclusively around Basel in the 15th Century. There were at least 2 Hand Blarers during this time that were known Master armorers that produced plate armor in quantity. #switzerland #coatofarms #medieval

Been working a bit more on pommels and on the twisty hilt (among other things).
Need to clean the welds and take some material off but that one is almost there too
