Same guy ships cars that drive themselves, humanoid robots for the factory floor, brain chips that let paralyzed people move a cursor with pure thought, and an AI running on a supercomputer his team stood up in months instead of years.

And the people crashing out about his net worth are doing it on the app he owns. The same app governments spent years trying to censor.

I get why politicians don’t campaign on this kind of message. But I’m not a politician, so I can say it: the rich are carrying the rest of us. They overpay in taxes and receive less in services. Elites are responsible for every major improvement in human wellbeing and we should be grateful rather than envious.

Isaac Newton captured maybe a billionth of the value he produced. Ford and Edison did better, but both were still huge net contributors.

Without elites, we would still be wrestling in the dirt over the biggest potato. Humanity advances solely due to the cognitive top 1%. The idea that they have too much wealth, too much control, is obscene. They have far too little. Instead, it’s siphoned away by upper-midwits (top 10%) who rile up the mob with wordcel nonsense.

Being a heckin good person doesn’t change the world. Being a genius does. Not everyone can be a genius. Most of us are normal. That’s fine. There’s nothing wrong with being normal, contributing your labor, earning a wage, living a normal life. That’s great! But the people who keep upgrading the standard for “a normal life” are elites.
