@NiallEM Just wanted to say I love how you've presented this 👍 Interactive demonstrations of math-heavy DSP concepts makes the topic much more accessible.
@eigenbom Got a packing problem? Have you checked Erich’s Packing Center? (Whenever I see a packing image I think of this page)

and @hollasch and I are proud/happy to announce that we’ll be releasing the alpha of the next major version of https://t.co/2MU2Lv4Wt2 on day 1 of @Siggraph (final version by end of 2023).
@SamHSmith2@kenpex I used to host my own Nextcloud instance and ended up getting rid of it because it turned out I really dislike server maintenance.
I’ve settled on Quarto as the generator. It is perfect for the kind of content I post.
You can use Blender's geometry nodes to solve physics and electromagnetic equations such as Biot-Savart law. You can calculate the magnetic field of a coil anywhere in 3D space and visualise the magnetic fields. Additionally, you can see in real-time how the magnetic field lines change as the coil gets deformed and twisted! #geometrynodes #b3d #blender3d #electronics #Engineering #Science #physics #kicad #circuits
relaxing with kicad for the first time in years. i swear its a kind of therapy, then the board arrives and you have to code stuff and it all gets undone! still, the rp2040 is *such a nice chip* to route for. I was able to do this one in almost entirely 1 layer, almost no vias.
@mmalex I’ve also been playing with Kicad and RP2040s recently (I’m using the Adafruit qt py rp2040)!
How sweet is the RP2040! The PIO stuff is just so awesome for interfacing to peripherals!
2 absolutely amazing quotes from this:
1. "Be wrong fast"
2. "When people give you notes, when they tell you what's wrong, they're usually right. When they tell you how to fix it, they're wrong"
Just pushed a minimal "blink the neopixel" example for the QT Py RP2040 dev board given that I couldn't actually find one.
Also, the PIO thing on the the RP2040 is very slick.

@duncm@Cloudflare Well this is annoying. I just consolidated some of my existing domains to google domains. What’s wrong with squarespace / why is cloudflare better? Is it just price?
