@BBCMOTD Very curious to what the punishment would have been had Boro won against Saints. Probably it would have been a hefty fine. The punishment shouldn't be changed because the wrong team won, it should be consistent whatever the outcome of thr semis was.

@dkaustin87 As soon as that game went ahead; explusion wasn't fair. Boro win - just a fine and points. Boro lose, punishment changes depsite the crime beiing the same. That's the issue. Boro pushed for that and were smarter, but not better on the pitch.

@AlfieHouseEcho The problem is, had the outcome of the semis had been Borough win, a different punishment would have been given - a fine or bigger points deduction. So you're basing the punishment on the outcome of those 2 games not being favourable. Only expulsion before the game is truly fair.

@TheSaintCentre Seemed to step up a level in his last year which begs the question, if he is a better player than when he arrived, why did we make a loss on him? Purely due to him being in his final year of contract? Either way I think it's the worst bit of business from the summer.

@M14RCV @SaintsExtra @TomLeachHL @SouthamptonFC Judging by Burnley last year we only need a 12 goal a season striker to finish 17th on 39 points. The rest can chip in with 2 to 3 each and wed be safe, just about. Not saying that's good but that's the stats.
