Ruto has a lot of work to do to regain public confidence and trust, and looking at the current circumstances, I doubt he will manage to change the perception most people have of him before 2027. If everytime he talks over 90% of Kenyans conclude he is lying, then there is a big problem. But does he listen? Does he learn?

The arrogance with his MPs and officials is also a great undoing. Every administration has its challenges, but never has Kenya experienced one that is this arrogant, deceitful, tone deaf and out of touch. Na majamaa hadi wamerejesha zile harambee za Nyayo where citizens can barely get basic government services, but politicians are dishing out millions of shillings out there.
