Married & two kids. Surveyor in construction; I like sport, reading, walking, holidays & sounding off. Welcome discussion & debate, not interested in insult.
@AlistairCarns All 5 are laudable, but are goals rather than route maps to achieve them. Take 1); how would you arrive at the 3%? Tax more, spend less elsewhere? If the latter, where? I’m looking for those answers, first.

@AngryBritishMum@LBC How do you manage to listen to him? I can’t manage more than 5 minutes, these days. The self righteousness, and lack of balance, is just too much for me.
@ajcdeane@DAaronovitch Agree, but the only mandate, between GEs, is from the previous election manifesto. Burnham needn’t feel beholden to that, which puts us in uncharted territory.
@Marcus___007@peterrhague Law does tend to have right or wrong outcomes; guilty or not guilty. It’s simple and binary. Real life is far more nuanced, with the least worst wrong answer often the best response.
@DAaronovitch@ajcdeane The difference being one is a senior national politician, and the other isn’t. What allowance were you making for this in your response.
