Click below to check out our new paper! Sidenote: This is my first ever (co-) first-authored paper, so any reads and comments would be much appreciated! 😁🎉
Thanks to all the authors (including @azrin_saj) and especially Ruth and Ju Lynn who provided me with great guidance!
In our latest paper led by Ruth Leong and @nicole__yu, we found that naps are especially beneficial for habitual nappers' short-term topographical memory, as it restored the decline that would otherwise have been incurred without a nap: https://t.co/dL6mN4j1Ye
Had a blast discussing my PhD project with @NeuroCharlotte - give it a listen to find out more about computational psychiatry! Thanks @Ri_Science for the opportunity :)
📢 What is the relationship between polygenic risk and individual symptoms of psychopathology? In a new pre-print (and my first PhD study!) we combine network analysis and polygenic risk scores ⬇️ https://t.co/555jseTouQ [1/9]
New publication. Our first foray into 'Bedtime procrastination'. An area of growing importance, but in need of objective data. We used actigraphy to study adolescent sleep and procrastination

Do you use consumer sleep trackers for research? We examined how many nights of data are needed for reliable estimation of sleep.
For sleep duration: 3n/week or 5n/month, for sleep variability: 5n/week or 12n/month

A new CannTeen paper is out! We found that cannabis use was *not* associated with amotivation, contrary to the trope often portrayed in the media. Adolescents were *not* more vulnerable than adults to cannabis-related, altered reward processing 🧵1/11 https://t.co/vF3L9Vexa8
Look out for our latest meta-analysis and review about the cognitive benefits of afternoon naps... kudos to Ruth Leong for putting this together... https://t.co/OWpYwcN0gZ

Read my comment on the latest study which concludes what we all knew - that all cases of depression are not caused by a simple chemical imbalance in serotonin.
“Depression should not be tackled as if it is a single disorder” https://t.co/jrZjL5uAve
Risk it for a biscuit? 🍪
📢In our new preprint, we developed a computational model of CANTAB CGT that explains individual differences in risky decisions.
