@TibbsReagan it's interesting to see how students' ability to learn & the quality of the education they receive goes beyond the material given. the Affective Domain shows that students' learning is dependent on both how a teacher challenges their students & cares for them. #EDUC200 #03Fall21

@shumaker_cory I think it was beneficial for us to take part in planning an activity that related Goldilocks to a level of Bloom's taxonomy because it was good practice for how we will need to create and brainstorm lesson plans in the future. #EDUC200 #03Fall21

@NashCosby I think this class was a great example of proper communication between a teacher and their class. We as students were able to give important feedback about what we need from our professor. And Dr. Thomas relayed the expectations he has for us coming up #EDUC200 #03Fall21

we discussed different paradigms throughout US Educational history. I think it’s interesting how while we limit each paradigm to a specific period of time, across the board we could all find examples of aspects of each paradigm in our own schooling experiences. #EDUC200 #03Fall21

@AmandaPento Yes I agree that these terms can be confused easily. I think some people see them as similar or going hand in hand but the visual is a great way to show how different the two are. And how sometimes different circumstances require one or the other but not both. #EDUC200 #03Fall21

@TibbsReagan I loved learning about these blue zones. I wonder if other regions of the world could work to emulate some of the aspects of these zones that cause it to be a blue zone to help increase life expectancy around the world. #EDUC200 #03Fall21

@HunterLaFrenie1 This activity was beneficial because while discussing each learning environment as a class we discovered how aspects of multiple philosophies were present in some of the drawings, showing these philosophies as more of a spectrum than concrete categories #EDUC200 #03Fall21

@TibbsReagan it is so interesting to see how by 3rd grade we can already have a view into what a child’s future will be. This truly goes to show just how important early education is to set children up for success in their future schooling and life. #EDUC200 #03Fall21

@emthompson_educ I think this story also exemplifies structure and clarity. Because while coaches could've switched the lineup for the relay they made it clear that they wanted to keep the already mentally prepared swimmers for the event in their respected strokes. #EDUC200 #03Fall21

Class 7 discussed Hirsch's "things every American needs to know" which he pushed to be taught as earlier as possible. I agree w/ the standardization of curriculum but not forced into the early years of school as students need to progress to some topics overtime #EDUC200 #03Fall21
