@Mirko_DIY Unfortunately the CM0 lacks PTP and built in Ethernet, I was looking for something based around the RK3506 but the A7 core worry me...
But also those SBC/SOMs doubled in prices.
I've put on hold my electronics projects on hold again.
@geerlingguy Apparently it is indeed a citation Project Hail mary.
I didn’t consciously notice the pattern, but my brain filled in the gaps anyway and connected it to Rocky, even though I experienced the book and the movie in another language.
Insanity level: ✅ just right
Coreforge is at it again, repurposing an old AMD B350 motherboard (sans CPU) as a Raspberry Pi PCIe breakout board: https://t.co/WWhiTAY4k0
@slikey Any idea for a dedicated server under linux?
Firewall is open to proper UDP port. Behind NAT, cross subnet I can connect to the server. But from outside it isn't working.
Same rule for TCP 25565 (MC) is working fine.
@furan@lukevassallo95 Something like the Tang Mega 138K Dock running a iKVM and OpenBMC would be awesome. That FPGA chip have an RISCV CPU but I dont know it it can run linux on that. And you would still lack the HW codecs.
@furan@lukevassallo95 If this could be integrated as a generic basic video adapter and using a ARM+FPGA chip you could create your own version of a ASPEED iKVM.
If the ARM core run openbmc you can have a completly full integrated stack. Without the cables to GPU of the various devices on market.
@geerlingguy If I did know, I would have stockpiled some RAM for my machines.
None of them are on 64GB, so yeah... not the best.
And my server is starting to need more RAM.
@nixcraft I can easily switch off dual stack and be done.
The issue? Most of local services are v4 only:
- No bank.
- No gov services.
- Public transport.
- Etc.
Another local ISP allow to request multiple v4 IPs by opening multiple pppoe connections.
Some used to do that.
@eevblog At least this thing might be newer that the hp400/800 you found before.
I still have one of thsoe and replacementst parts/printer heads are harder and harder to find. According to HP its support EOL. I'm waiting that mine dies or I cannot find the consumables.
@geerlingguy I think that printing as a whole is cursed, paper or polymer.
A friend of mine recently got a x1c as "set and forget". He still is having the most common issues of 3D printing.
So no printer is immune to odd issues.
