@Lottie_of_doom It's interesting. I definitely see hydrogen being a good option for medium to heavy vehicles. Whether it'll gain mindshare against battery electric cars I'm not sure.
@gilesta@MartinSLewis "Marks and Spencer P.L.C., London, W2, failed to pay £578,390.79 to 5,363 workers"
https://t.co/vXvSxFKjG6
Named in June this year but it's not entirely clear when the underpayments occurred.
@azure_seal@PippaCrerar Technically MPs can't resign during a Parliament. They can only be expelled or become disqualified to continue serving.
The Chiltern Hundreds job disqualifies an MP from serving so accepting it is used by MPs wishing to leave.
@DavidWalsh_M Not sure about Parkway Central but I think the obvious bypass for that would be the last "proper" exit up to Manor Lane, then Manor Way and Cricket Inn Road.
@Philsbodydouble @Hagen_Ernst_201 @AlStewartOBE@MichaelPiliOCod If Russia does not view the court as binding on them why have they bothered passing a law stating when they will stop doing that, and why have they bothered defending multiple cases in that court over the last 20-odd years?
@andyravensable @jonathantullett If I was declared dead erroneously I'd definitely want a copy of the certificate.
Probably frame it and hang it up somewhere :)
@geewest1@BarristerSecret That image appears to be a fake, with the Tory logo photoshopped onto a conveniently-coloured van Saville had bought some years earlier.
Jimmy Savile active Tory party campaigner you mean?
@Fran_sez@97Jonathanbrown@NancyFielder@SheffieldStar@felly500 At least part of the problem is the app talking about postcodes at all. Postcode districts are set by Royal Mail in ways that suit them. They routinely straddle local government boundaries.
Bits of S11 fall outside of Sheffield council, as do parts of S6 and doubtless others.
@KatieMowse@HelpSheffield "Duck" didn't surprise me. It's common over towards Newark where most of my family come from.
"Love" between random men was a bit of a surprise though, and one of my first "Sheffield things".
@AdamWagner1 This is an issue that's endemic across https://t.co/aMhvpn2O9b
Try and find a link to the underlying legislation in the "public facing" pages on any topic and you'll probably fail.
@_Kano_P@KatyJBurrows@BarristerSecret@DominicRaab Employers can but AIUI notice must be at least as far in advance as the leave to be taken, so at least 2 weeks before the start of a 2 week quarantine. That will not always be possible.
@aunty_cis I went about a car length up it once to get out of the road for unloading when we were at a cottage opposite the bottom of the steps. That was enough :)
@GBB_IE @Goodable@cybernova Sheriff's are typically elected so the pressures on them are different from rank and file officers. That's not to say this wasn't a good and brave choice, but the boss this guy has to answer to is the voters.
@L_EToffee@Dorina335@davidallengreen Once a new election is voted for by the Commons the actual polling date is "appointed by Her Majesty by proclamation on the recommendation of the Prime Minister" so the PM has some influence.
