Until recently, all the wild peacocks living at Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs were male. 3 females were introduced earlier this year to help save the population, and the first baby peacock has already arrived.

The “dry heat” people have never experienced the unrelenting suffocation that comes with 10+ days of 115. It doesn’t let up. You get punched morning, noon, and night. Nothing heals. Everything breaks. 3 steps and you actually want to fall asleep. It’s first world torture.
