once you turn 20 you have to fight everyday for the rest of your life to not lose your personality & spirit...bc what once came naturally to you will be exhausted into nothing if you don't actively Try. it's terrifyingly easy to become a lethargic, soulless adult
Idk who needs to hear this but..
It's time to go all in on the things you want.
Life is too fucking short to be sitting around hoping things fall into place.
Get up, take action, and make it happen.
Pursue what you want relentlessly and don't leave anything on the table.
I read a quote that said:
"The faster that you do the hard things you want to avoid, the faster you will receive the good things you actually want"
and that has changed my whole perspective.
it's crazy how there are studies showing that saffron, creatine, magnesium, exercise, dancing and sunlight reverse depression and nobody is talking about them
Commit to a routine/schedule. Get in shape. Cut people off. Set boundaries. Ignore calls & start saying NO. Watch how your life gets better. Thank me later!
my mother always said underwire bras were designed to kill you slowly. i laughed, called her dramatic. but my intuition knew to listen.
underwire bras restrict lymphatic drainage. trap toxins. crush your ribs like the patriarchy crushes dreams. but sure, keep wearing them. tell yourself it’s for “support” while your organs plot their revenge.
free the boob. free yourself. the underwire industrial complex wants you uncomfortable. reject it. burn it. wear a sports bra. or nothing at all.
Instead of nightclubs I want a 24hr library with hot chocolate stations, a dessert bar, coffee machine, big comfy chairs and beanbags, blankets, dogs welcome, just people who want to spend the evening reading alone, together, peaceful, a cosy fire, plants, an indoor waterfall.
