@uptonic Oh totally - as a biker in Boulder, I think it’s important to give priority to pedestrians on shared paths. My point is that these paths don’t need to be shared. In European cities, you typically see dedicated bike paths next to dedicated sidewalks so there’s no conflict
American cars are uniquely big, expensive, and inefficient.
Here's the best-selling car in America last year (right) vs. the best-seller in Europe (left).
So why are American cars so big?

Every Western State is just:
Water Usage:
Residential: 12%
Commercial: 10%
Industrial: 5%
Farming: 70%
someone who is good at water allocation please help me budget this. I don't have enough water for residential use.
I just love this figure of Colorado River water usage from the @nytclimate today. I want a poster of it. Water law is animal law, at least in the West.
@ericmbudd Can you name names? I emailed @SteveFenberg in support of the land bill and didn’t hear back (great constituent service), so not sure where he stands
@BoulderCAST What source do you use for air quality monitoring? This has far more data points than https://t.co/1A1CIbIeJQ, would love to get access to it
@Yimbyindenver@the_transit_guy Turns out “300 days of sunshine” is a lie invented by railroad marking execs 150 years ago. I only found this out after moving here… https://t.co/ri3bZu4OlE
