So, dear Pope, quick question:
You’ve got these guys in Iran who say they’re doing God’s work… by hanging protesters at sunrise and beating women into forced confessions. Apparently, that’s what “holy” looks like now.
And I’m just wondering, when people get executed for asking for freedom, does that qualify as a “massacre,” or are we still workshopping the language?
Because from the outside, it looks like religion being used as a cover for straight-up brutality. And when the people who actually claim to speak for God stay quiet… it kinda sounds like God’s on mute.
So, are you going to say something about it, or is this one of those moments where silence is the safest prayer?

It’s been 1,111 hours since access to the internet was cut off for the Iranian people.
Online businesses have collapsed. Families are cut off. People are left in the dark, anxious and disconnected from the world in 2026.
Denying millions of Iranians access isn’t just about control, it’s an insult to those trying to live with dignity. Internet access is not a privilege. It’s a basic right

While so many young people are dancing and celebrating at Coachella right now, 19-year-old Saghar Gholami is waiting for her execution.
Her crime? Taking part in protests.
How can human rights organizations claim to defend people while turning a blind eye to this? A world where justice depends on where you are born is indefensible. Be Saghar’s voice.

To President @realDonaldTrump,
Don’t do their job for them in one night. For 47 years, the Islamic Republic has tried, and failed, to destroy Iran’s civilization.
Tonight, millions are living in #DigitalBlackoutInIran, cut off from the world, not even knowing if our families are alive.
Don’t take Iran back to the Stone Age. Target the Stone Age mindset, the officials who are hanging innocent protesters in the 21st century.

Iran belongs collectively to all Iranians, a people with 7,000 years of civilization who have spent the last 47 years fighting oppression and destruction. We have spent decades resisting with empty hands or choosing the bitter path of exile.
The infrastructure and power plants of this land belong to the freedom-seeking people of Iran. Threatening to turn Iran into "hell" is exactly what we’ve been fighting against for 47 years
Until recently, Hamideh Soleimani Afshar and her daughter were green card holders living lavishly in the United States.
Afshar is the niece of deceased Iranian Major General Qasem Soleimani. She is also an outspoken supporter of the Iranian regime who celebrated attacks on Americans and referred to our country as the "Great Satan."
This week, I terminated both Afshar and her daughter's legal status and they are now in ICE custody, pending removal from the United States.
The Trump Administration will not allow our country to become a home for foreign nationals who support anti-American terrorist regimes.
We, the people of Iran, are not the regime.
Threatening to take Iran “back to the Stone Age” harms civilians, not those in power.
Any action must target the ruling system, not the country’s infrastructure or the future of its people.

Mr. @SecMullinDHS, as you step into your new position I ask you to provide particular consideration to the status of Iranian students and professionals in the United States who may be at risk of immigration complications due to Presidential Proclamations 10949 and 10998. Many of these individuals fled the Islamic Republic’s because they believe in freedom, democracy, and the values this country stands for. They are also contributing to the United States every day.
They arrived in this country legally, followed the rules, respect this country and its system of law and order and are among the most dedicated and accomplished contributors to American society. I ask that you and your department consider these factors, plus the personal and political risk many of these young people would face if sent back to the criminal regime in Iran.
America’s concerns for its national security and the threat posed by the Islamic regime to the homeland are entirely justified. To that end, my office stands ready to provide you and your colleagues with regime operatives, propaganda agents, and influence networks for investigation and removal from the United States.
Thank you for your consideration.
The slaughter of young Iranians continues unabated. Yet people who follow the Woke Reich Neo-fascist podcasters — Carlson, Fuentes, Kelly, Bannon, et al — are being told the Jews are behind all evil.
For past 27 days internet is completely shut off for all Iranians. But a selected regime backed group granted access via “white SIM cards” just to spread propaganda.
It’s only fair if X shuts down their accounts, or at least labels them as state media or propaganda.
@elonmusk@nikitabier
Imagine you're an only child who left your country behind. Imagine your parents are old, fragile and alone. Imagine you built a small life abroad, while your whole family stayed back home.
Now imagine there is war in your country and the government shuts down the internet.
No calls.
No messages.
No "I'm safe."
Just silence.
For 633 hours, Iranians abroad have been cut off from their families. 633 hours of not knowing if the people you love are alive. This is not just an internet blackout. This is emotional torture.
Iranians need access to the internet.

Rare moment of truth at the UN from brave Kuwaiti dissident @JJJuraid, invited by UN Watch:
Mr. Chair,
I heard the term “colonizers.” But who are the real colonizers? A Jewish Kingdom ruled in Judea for a thousand years. We, the Arabs, took this land.
Who Arabized Egyptians, Phoenicians, Persians and Amazighs? It was us, the Arabs.
So why does the council enshrine a lie by keeping a permanent agenda item on Palestine, while ignoring the indigenous heart of Israel returning home?
Let us be clear about who is actually defending our sovereignty. Today, Israel is a fighter for peaceful nations, freeing Gaza from Hamas and saving Iranians from the Islamic Republic.
What Israel is doing to the IRGC — stopping a genocidal regime from acquiring nuclear weapons — is a gift to humanity.
There are 57 Islamic countries and only one Jewish state, Israel. Despite the ongoing hateful desire to eliminate it, Israel has not only survived, it has thrived.
I don't believe in miracles, but this is one.
So I ask the UN: when will you end the ritual of condemning Israel?
Is it not time, instead, to learn from Israel? How to defeat terror, defend free societies, and pursue peace.
Thank you.
