Super keen to talk to full-stack engineers (strong with Python/Django along with some frontend proficiency), with a track record in small & fast-paced product teams.
Is that you, or do you know anyone?
Has Instagram recently become basically unusable for anyone else? Feels like triple the amount of ads, and everything else is suggested posts full of trying-to-be-funny TikTok-ish content. It’s actually hard to find photos from friends.
@OzComicCon I've been charged twice for Melbourne tickets, have emailed [email protected] and not heard back for 4 weeks. Could someone get in touch with me? Thanks.
@danderfield I lose late night walks that keep me sane - move my body and clear my mind. My days are stacked 7am to 8pm with kids, work, and homeschooling. So it really bothers me that it’s illegal to walk alone.
@alandownie Every hour!? Yeah, that sounds impossible. It's enough work just to keep on top of their schedule, make sure their devices are charged, logged in, etc. Let alone, assisting with the actual work.
@alandownie Our kids school has set very little work, is doing optional 15 video check ins in the morning, and is basically saying, “it’s all optional, so do whatever works for your family”. It’s good. They are independently occupied for about 30 mins each morning - then we just do whatever.
Anyone had good experience with an Australian recruitment firm that specialises in senior design and creative roles? Not so much in regards to tech/software, but more art direction, creative direction, graphic design, etc?
If Latrell Mitchell deserves 4 weeks on the sideline for that incident, I am an astronaut. This game just keeps finding ways to make a fool of itself. Really? 4 weeks? So Latrell was 4 weeks worse than Radley? I must be from another planet. Goodnight all. I’ve had enough.
@PowersEamonn @shreddievedder1 Yeah agree. Judgement in. Grade 2. 4 weeks. I just keep coming back to the idea that it's not a 4 week offence at face value. If that's the new standard.... OK. But I doubt it.
@PowersEamonn @shreddievedder1 It was careless for sure, but he didn’t ‘choose’ to strike to the head. His eyes were elsewhere and it was lazy. Not malicious.
@shreddievedder1 Again mate, that's not how it works. They have the judge the incident on its own merits. It's not their job to make up for incidents of the past.
@shreddievedder1 I'm fascinated by how many Australian's think they know what's good for Latrell, want to be involved in his life, and think they know what's best for his "well-being" and future. I don't think he needs that type of help.
@shreddievedder1 Yep, he can play better than that. But it's not the judiciary's job to coach the player, nor the press, nor you, or I. Even if 4 weeks was good for him, that's not how the judiciary should make their decision.
