@TheBrokenMeeple Can you review a book before reading it all? Can you review a campaign game after playing just 1 scenario? While there are certainly games where you've seen all it can do in just 1 play, more complex games you may not see all it has to offer without at least a few plays.

@DiceAndNames I agree, not all games need a solo mode. It's still a legitimate question, but for a crowdfunder, I would expect the publisher to have already considered whether to include a solo mode or not before launch, so really, the question is often redundant.

@TheBrokenMeeple Should also say, the expansions really boost other scoring avenues (like butterflies and the cave). Still quite reliant on luck to draw those boost cards of course

@TheBrokenMeeple The two expansions do help significantly dilute the deck, which helps mitigate things a lot, esp at 2p where the deer/wolf strategy is most prevalent. They don't eliminate the possibility of it though, as it all depends on the shuffle and which cards get removed to start.

@SoVeryBritish I think brits do a decent job of pronouncing croissant. I find the American pronunciation of that word the oddest: Cross-ant.

I do like listening to how folks pronounce "Schadenfreude". And also how to spell it, as I ALWAYS have to autocorrect it.

@JoshuaAcostaMD If the asymmetric factions work well at 4 but the map is too tight, I might add extra terrain just for 4p (but that's a bit of a pain to represent easily)
