MAARSY radar readings showing signals of Polar Mesospheric Summer Echoes (PMSE), indicating 1) cold enough temperatures for NLCs & 2) presence of strong mesospheric electron density gradients. Although correlated in ways, PMSEs don’t necessarily mean NLCs though, but a good sign

Correct me if I am wrong, but I tend to think this partial halo CME comes from an eruption in AR 13220, which is close to central meridian, that is, in the Earth strike zone. It may arrive on Feb 18 if it arrives.
