டாக்டர் ராஜ்குமார் அழுத்தமாக, தெளிவாக ��ட்ட விளக்கத்தை அளித்துள்ளார். ஆனால், அந்த அமைச்சர், தான் கூறியுள்ளது அரசியல் அமைப்பு சட்டத்தை மீறுவதாகும் என்று அறியாமல் தான் கூறினார் என்பது உறுதியில்லை.

முந்தைய தி.மு.க. அரசு எந்த நோக்கத்திற்காக இந்த விஷயத்தை செயல்படுத்த முயன்றதோ, அதே நோக்கத்தில் தான் இந்த அரசும் இது போன்ற விஷயங்களில் தெரிந்தே செயல்படுகிறது என்று தோன்றுகிறது.

பொதுவாக அரசியல்வாதிகளின் நடிப்பில் மக்கள் ஏ���ாறக் கூடாது என்பது ஒரு புறமிருக்க, தொழில் முறை நடிகராக இருந்தவரின் தலைமையில் இயங்கும் ஓர் அரசின் செயல்பாடுகளை மேலெழுந்தவாரியாகப் பார்க்காமல் மக்கள் விசேஷ, கூர்ந்த கவனத்துக்கு உட்படுத்த வேண்டும்.

Yes. The headline in question is a case of poor syntax. The sentence, as it is, makes it appear as if the tiger killed 13 people using Calvin Klein cologne, while the fact intended to be conveyed was that the authorities used the cologne to (lure and) kill the tiger.

As the action done using the cologne was the hunting, the adverbial phrase "𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘊𝘢𝘭𝘷𝘪𝘯 𝘒𝘭𝘦𝘪𝘯 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘯𝘦" should be placed closer to the clause that has the verb "𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘩𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨". Thus, the sentence needs to be restructured as "𝘜𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘊𝘢𝘭𝘷𝘪𝘯 𝘒𝘭𝘦𝘪𝘯 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘯𝘦, 𝘐𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘩𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘯-𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘪𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 '𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥 13 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦' ". This would avoid the ambiguity.

The humour is well taken. After the advent of SM, the subjects mentioned above have no doubt come to occupy a lot more time of a lot more people. But it is well known that even earlier, quite many of the old people, who grew up devouring newspapers and later on TV debates, used to have discussions with friends and relatives on a wide range of national and international issues. So people with concerns transcending family issues have always existed. 😀
