@emollick The number of medical professionals who have launched Substacks in the past year and who are charging for Claude posts summarizing evidence on Topic X or Topic Y is ridiculous.
@ChristopherHine Hard to see how the Wolves crack the top two with OKC’s depth and Wemby only improving with time. Guess we will have to keep Ant in bubble wrap until we can get realigned to the East!
On the one hand we don’t feel especially close to making a finals. On the other hand this was way better than most of the last 30 years. Thanks to @JonKrawczynski@ChristopherHine and @DaneMooreNBA for a great year of Wolves coverage!
ABC News has now taken all FiveThirtyEight articles completely offline. They now redirect to abcnews dot com/politics. A needless erasure of thousands of pages of knowledge.
@ChristopherHine I realize your professional incentives are different so maybe you have to, but the thought of using the For You tab in Twitter is terrifying. It's awful and I'd quit this place in a day if forced to rely on it. "Following" in chronological order makes it useable.
@theproof Alright, I lied. @Physionic_PhD is probably my one instant watch YT channel for deeper science-based content (well, him and @BradStanfieldMD). Nic's channel is criminally undersubscribed. Feel like he'd be an awesome conversationalist for a podcast episode.
@Interferon_G@drozcanyucel@drpablocorral Mostly it's about preventing new plaque from forming and stabilizing the plaque you've got to make it less risky. Ideally we want to help people be metabolically healthy and keep cholesterol low and win against heart disease on all fronts. (2/2)
@Interferon_G@drozcanyucel@drpablocorral Agreed. If you've got calcified plaque there's very little that has been demonstrated to lead to plaque regression (although some RCTs show that if you drive LDL-C way down you can get a small amount). (1/2)
