Assistant Coach/Player Development AZ Compass

Damian Lillard says too many highly regarded young players are surrounded by “yes men” that tell them they are great

Once they get to the next level, when their talent isn’t enough to get them through, they struggle with working hard and being stable 🗣️

[Ben Sig @sig_50]

If I’m not mistaken: Phil Beckner

GOAT’d in the sharpshooting developments.

Player-comparison, situational-comparison in Mattise Thybulle also became a realized 3pt-shooter underneath Beckner’s training program.

[Noah Waide @noahwaide]

Super grateful for @PhilBeckner. Always going to keep it real and challenge you to grow 💯

[GW Men's Basketball @GW_MBB]

Additionally, @SamEbersold has been named the new Director of Player Development. #RaiseHigh

[Phil Beckner @PhilBeckner]

Being great isn’t for everyone.

Some people just give in after the warmup and need a break.

Gus is one of them. 😂

[Warren Sharp @SharpFootball]

the scariest part about this Super Bowl?

this was supposed to be the year to knock off the Chiefs

Mahomes was most expensive cap hit in NFL at $37M

his OL was weakened

his WR1 was a rookie

they were forced to play SIX STRAIGHT GAMES at a REST DISADVANTAGE weeks 12-17, the ONLY time a team had to do that in NFL history

they had to play in Germany

they didn't get a 1st round bye

they had to play on the road in the Divisional Round as an underdog

they had to play on the road in the Conference Championship round as an underdog

they were underdogs in the Super Bowl and were losing by double digits

it was the TOUGHEST PATH to a Super Bowl based on strength of opponent faced EVER

and they STILL won the Super Bowl

You can’t truly impact if you don’t do the work to develop your presence. If you want different outcomes change your investment level. #getinline

Interval training with Gus!

1 minute on - 1 minute off.

Big dog can’t keep up.
Zero encouragement when I run - not a great teammate. 🤣

[Be Better. Be Different. @BeBetterBeDiff]

Incredible day to IMPACT SOMEONE ELSE!!! Thankful for partnering with @SVdP to help provide back to school shoes for kids in Phoenix!

Thank you to @Dame_Lillard for helping provide shoes for those who need it!

So many people think it's cool to "not care," about anything...but people who do great things care deeply.

Being deeply engaged, and passionate about what you do is not only infectious - it's how people change the world.
