earn enough Gil to live comfortably.” Then she said “I only date Dragoons.” and she unmatched me. I was like wtf.

[Noctis @Noctis563]

I was talking to a girl on Tinder the other day and she asked me what my job was. I said “Blue Mage” and she said “Don’t you have to wait for an enemy to cast a spell on you before you can use it? That gives me the ick.” And I said “Yes, but I can learn some unique spells and I

Women today have such ridiculous standards

They won’t accept anything shorter than 256 bits!

[Noctis @Noctis563]

@fisherk1ng When I was in school our version of that was going with a girl to see Twilight

[Noctis @Noctis563]

@jaydogreddy @fisherk1ng “Half as smart and twice as likely to fellate me”

@_bazztek On Steam, 16, Remake, and Rebirth each only reached a peak player count of 40,000. Resonance currently is at 30,000. Expedition 33, a turn-based game made by a small studio, beat them all with 120,000 players.

[Noctis @Noctis563]

@SeiAzuuul @edbeamsomething @trzef Expedition 33 was a turn-based game made by a small studio, was a new IP, and had a small budget and it still beat Resonance with 145,000 peak players. And the most ironic part is it beat FF16 also, which only had 27,000 peak players

[Noctis @Noctis563]

@SeiAzuuul @edbeamsomething @trzef Cyberpunk 2077: 1 million peak, 100,000 current Elden Ring: 950,000 peak, 20,000 current
Baldur’s Gate 3: 875,000 peak, 24,000 current

[Noctis @Noctis563]

@SeiAzuuul @edbeamsomething @trzef Both Counter Strike and Dota have player counts above 500,000. Even an obscure 20 year old game like Team Fortress has 30,000 more players than Resonance

[Noctis @Noctis563]

@TurtleTime85 @trzef I don’t really care about graphics usually but a modern FF should at least be true 3d

[Noctis @Noctis563]

@infresco4 @SurlyGamer Yes. FF hasn’t been good since 2006 and the people who made those games are gone

[Noctis @Noctis563]

@KyoAlexiel @SurlyGamer You’re spamming this guy after he said he’s not interested

[Noctis @Noctis563]

@marciehime Also they brought back stagger from 13 which a lot of people hated

[Noctis @Noctis563]

@marciehime @cluckingchooky Yeah it’s that system but in the Resonance version you don’t equip magicite you equip Visions which aren’t espers they’re characters from older games

[Noctis @Noctis563]

@vonwasnthere @marciehime The actual number is 40,000, which is thousands less than Team Fortress 2, a game that came out almost 20 years ago. Doesn’t sound that impressive now does it?

[Noctis @Noctis563]

@EndymionYT I heard that there are going to be multiple parts to this. Is that true?

[Noctis @Noctis563]

@MilfeulleSakura @internetkyler @EndymionYT Only 40,000. Team Fortress 2 has thousands more and it’s almost 20 years old

[Noctis @Noctis563]

@hellouisex2 They’re trying to claim Resonance is really popular on Steam but the actual numbers are around 40,000. There are thousands more people playing Team Fortress and 500,000 more playing Counter Strike. So yea they’re lying as usual.

[Noctis @Noctis563]

@keddage @hellouisex2 There were so many over the top things and tonal changes in Remake that I feel like they just wanted to mock fans of the original. It felt like more than just accidentally making a bad game.

[Noctis @Noctis563]

@navenowski @hellouisex2 14’s revenue and player base are still much lower compared to other MMO’s. The last expansion, Dawntrail, was pretty negatively received. A new player has to play through hundreds of hours of story to get to the endgame. I think the formula is getting stale for a lot of people
