MLB The Show takeover, follow me on Twitch to see the #1 ranked casual and help grow the community, we turn triple plays and hit nukes all while rolling up at the same time, I’m truly just an alien who comes to earth to enjoy The Show 🛸👽
@_oFAB I’d say the majority of the 2k community does not play with a backend nor do they know how to run a stack defense, defense does need a buff, but the reason most people gettin fried is cause they play man with no help rotation, defense is a team effort
One thing I was wrong about last night is thinking that at least one of the first round guards would still be available at 23.
Philon ended up as the last one at 22.
So the theoretical/popular “draft Mara and then take a guard at 23” idea probably wouldn’t have been an option.
@DubDotDUBBY I had him goin 13 to the heat before the trade, dude is an absolute bucket, idk about three guard lineups with Maxey/VJ but where y’all picked him should make him an easy steal
I know it won’t happen, but give me one of Acuff or Mikel Brown, Flemings at 8, trade back if we taking Mara, Onsi been cookin so whatever happens tonight be content hawks fans

I want to start this off by stating that this post is in good faith and that I am communicating this without any malice.
As someone who has streamed and used your product as a full-time job for over half a decade, I first want to express how thankful I am for it. Please understand and take a step back before reacting to the criticism and counsel that follows. This comes from a place of good faith and honesty.
When people put in hard work and passion into a product and it doesn’t receive the positive response they hoped for, it can be quite confronting and disappointing. We all respond differently to that. We can go on the offensive, ignore it, or choose to take action.
I am certain this year has brought challenges the community isn’t fully aware of. I also believe the company and employees receive negative feedback every year across a wide spectrum of criticism. I suspect this may create a “boy who cried wolf” syndrome—where complaints are dismissed because “they complain no matter what.”
This year feels different. As I stated at the beginning, this message and counsel come in good faith.
“We” (the community) don’t understand your budget or have privileged information about exact manpower. I’m certain problems exist that, if you could transparently share them (without breaching any NDA), might create more grace from the community.
Below are a few primary actions I believe could help put out some flames and meet somewhere in the middle: 👇🏽
• Hader (a live series card actively in play): Rather than removing his card entirely, consider removing his two-seam fastball until a solution is found.
• King (Mexico series card): You could potentially remove him with a supplemental card or disable his sinker.
• Grant Taylor (relatively new): His cards have a bugged release. Please actively work to resolve this in the code—his past cards have had the same issue.
• Cheaters: As I understand it, external hardware makes detection difficult and manpower for observation is limited. Potential focus areas could include monitoring unnatural jumps in batting average in regular ranked games, hours played in auto-scripted mini-seasons, and users whose averages spike dramatically (e.g., from .260 to .590) only during Weekend Classic.
• Bots: Progress has been made, but they still exist and are evolving—especially with cloud gaming.
• PCI Shrinkage: This has been one of the most disappointing aspects of this year’s game. It was stated that PCI shrinkage would be addressed and fixed, but it wasn’t. If changing the code has proven more difficult than expected, just admit it and take accountability. I know that can sting the ego, but it goes a long way.
• Bugs: We obviously have various bugs—nothing is perfect. Just continue chipping away at them one at a time, prioritizing the most impactful ones first.
• Servers: I’m sure budget plays a big role here, which is understandable. We aren’t privy to what you can spend. But it’s 2026, and bottlenecking and disconnects are at an all-time high. Please push for allocating more capital to this issue (knowing offline modes also generate strong revenue).
• Menus: Simplify them!
I’ve never been able to yell at someone and receive a positive response or the outcome I wanted. This is my respectful attempt.
Truly, I believe if you act on even just a few of these we can see a turn around before the allstar break.
Can’t play this sick ass Jeter card on my Yankees theme team because he’s the 88 Captain. Got the same problem with 94 Petite.
Why is this a thing @MLBTheShow? Let us use their top cards as TT Captains!
I believe with all the bots/cheaters on the online leaderboards, that they just said to hell with online play this year, once they figure out those 2 issues we can hopefully go back to good online rewards, but who knows, this year has been a disaster
They HAVE to do more for online players to grind. This forcing of online player to play offline is ridiculous at this point, and I'm an offline only guy.
Good for offline grind, though.
Also Conquest got rewarded for 14 games with Neto, 2 Del, 1 Sum Del, a Prem and an 85+ LS
