@samsmeats@bookingcom We had the same issue. Messaged on the 8th of July and got a reply on the 19th telling us our hotel was expecting us on the 7th. Even time travel isn't out of reach for bookingdotcom.
@johnkemb@bookingcom Hope this gets resolved. I've turned from being a loyal customer to someone who wishes they'd never heard of the platform. No attempts to acknowledge or resolve any queries.
@bookingcom@SajaAlF Hi Saja, hope you've had a response. I've been waiting since Sunday. I would appreciate some assistance if someone would continue to look into the issue raised in the dms.
@bookingcom@SajaAlF I'd greatly appreciate a response to the dms you initiated. You've left me on read since Saturday evening. Hardly great customer service.
@bookingcom@HoCaz I'd greatly appreciate a response to the dms you initiated. You've left me on read since Saturday evening. Hardly great customer service.
@bookingcom Which is it? You either can get ahold of them or the email in which u say you've contacted them is not true? Note your email states the hotel awaits us on the 7th but your email is dated the 19th. Is time travel part of your offering now?
1/ @bookingcom left us stranded abroad — 4 adults, 3 kids, and a baby — after our prepaid hotel rooms were handed to someone else.
We were left with no rooms, no help, and no refund.
We contacted them immediately. No reply for 6 days.
3/ We have voice recordings, evidence, and receipts.
@bookingcom: respond properly. You’ve failed us and put a baby’s wellbeing at risk.
We’ll never book with you again — and we’ll make sure others know.
2/ When they finally replied, they said:
“Your hotel will be ready for you on July 7.”
It's July 19.
We’ve spent £3,450 more on emergency hotels, transport, food, etc.
They haven’t read a single word.
This is how @bookingcom treats loyal customers.
5 mins after putting this out, @noelkizere turns up at my front door for a surprise visit!
Great to see a good friend, one of my pharmacy heroes, and fellow sneaker head, at the start of this festive season.

This week race/ethnicity has been discussed severally, some points to 📝:
1️⃣ Diversity is not the same as inclusion
2️⃣ Equality is not the same as equity 3️⃣ Tokenism cannot remedy chronic erasure
4️⃣ Exhaustion can occur among people with lived experience
#ThursdayThoughts
Great opportunity to discuss racial inequality in pharmacy. Thanks for the opportunity @ChemistDruggist We couldn’t answer important and relevant questions put forward by attendees but I believe we will be able to do so using a different channel of communication
.@elsygomezcampos says unfortunately none of this "easy" and community #pharmacy teams often feel exposed and unsupported when they face #racism in their premises.
Time for better protection for our frontline staff #racisminpharmacy @UKBPA1
Some homework from @noelkizere who asks the audience to "write this down" and shares a parable.
"We cannot have a conversation about my rights, without considering your/our responsibilities"
#racisminpharmacy
.@noelkizere highlighting the differences between diversity & inclusion & sharing his personal experiences
"We are tired. We don't want anymore sticking plasters for this ongoing issue."
"I've been that sole black face in the meeting - it's lonely and tiring"
