@Solomon_Buchi “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth.Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; They shall not be ashamed, But shall speak with their enemies in the gate”
As the protest have begun and we all can see the wins alongside attendant challenges, consequences and trajectory, cautious guidance is pertinent. I advocate for moderation and restraint on the part of all players and onlookers alike.
Leaders of the protest must strategize carefully and be physically involved to ensure that this legitimate civil action is carried out within the confines of the law and do all within their powers to work with security agencies to ensure the process is not hijacked by anarchists and also outline not just demands but steps to ensure a good ending. The leaders of the protest must wear the garb of good project managers who can visualize and direct this from start to finish knowing that any lull or void can be hijacked by unscrupulous elements.
Government should rise above the pedestrian considerations of hurt from negative publicity and quickly prioritize the demand of protesters and seek quick wins to put on the table with a genuine commitment to further wins within the next 6-12month.
Additionally, I implore opinion leaders, molders and influencers to consciously moderate their utterances online and onsite. The 2020 Endsars protests was on course until opinion molders began to push the people to unreasonable demands away from the original intent of the protest. This temptation must be resisted this time. We have began to see things like “Akpabio must go”, it is unreasonable to make unconstitutional demands. Akpabio was elected by his peers within the framework of legislative operations not by our votes. You can’t remove a senate president by protest. Only the senators can remove him from being their president and then only his constituents can remove him from being senator. No form of distraction should be allowed.
I believe the demand is for better governance, review of policies, massive cut in cost of governance and public service, and introduction of social safety nets while the VERY MUCH NEEDED reforms are on course. The COURAGE to undertake these reforms must be underpinned with EXEMPLARY SACRIFICE by leaders and shored up with COMPASSION for the people who will feel the heat of the reforms.
Finally, this protest must be rid of ALL ethnic, religious and political sentiments by ALL.
Kudos to leaders of government especially governors and law enforcement agencies whose conduct, influence, modus operandi and machinery have helped check unintended excesses in their domain.
May NIGERIA win
Selah.
When I was about seven years old, I represented my school at an event. As my father dropped me off at the venue, he asked me if the school was bringing me back home.
I said yes, that the school had arranged for a bus to take me home and he didn't need to come back for me.
@pdYHWH@official_perky I scrolled through the replies, hoping to see price so that I can note it and know if I’ll be able get it, but nothing. I’m sure there are others like me. Oh well.
This was my thought too. Her colleagues also failed her. I’m no doctor but they could have started prepping to help her while waiting to get her out of there.
You had one hour to get ready for this emergency!!! No one could get blood, no oxygen, no one on ground could set central line. The consultant didn’t think of neck collar for the patient until a HO suggested it. When the patient got there that’s when you now start looking for

@DavidHundeyin The same thing I’m suffering with @FirstBankngr They say they have a 24/7 complaint email but you’ll never get a response when you do send an email. Over one week now and no one has bothered to respond to me. Banking with Nigerian banks and living outside the country is a task.
I said this too when I moved. There is a reason it is also referenced as power. People are more engaged and productive when there’s electricity. Check the difference in your neighborhood when there is and when there’s not “light”.
The japa tweet that resonated with me most was the lady that said she moved because at age 40, she shouldn't be worrying whether PHCN brought light or not.
At flimsy as it sounds, Electricity supply is the bedrock of civilization/first world countries as we know it....

@vrtloner @chukwuphilip4@Ore__K@valentinowpg Let me help you people. She didn’t say people don’t make money abroad or they don’t stay back. She said the abroad is boring compared to Nigeria. You make all that money and it’s tax and not much owambe. She then said most of these people go back after. Do you see the difference?
Urgent!! @USinNigeria@UKinNigeria
This man is Musiliu Akinsanya
Popularly known as mc oluomo,
He boldly refused the LAGOS state in IGBO tribesmen d chance to vote in his polling unit, check below for d link to the video , We expect u to add him & his family to ur sanction list
Diappointed voters in Ebute Metta, Lagos, are telling me the disruption of voting at the PU at 254 Borno Way was by thugs working for APC.
One said: "They were threatening us right from the start, warning the Igbo to behave and not vote against APC... that this is not Anambra."
More Incident Reporting
Ebonyi State;
Ikaliki Primary School has over 300 registered voters, only about 50 voted and they claim that the ballot papers are finished.
INEC officials have disappeared from the polling Unit.
Tinubu’s thugs in another location at Fadeyi, Lagos interfering with the election process. For those who want this king of thugs to be president of Nigeria, your entire generation will never amount to anything beyond thuggery.
