I am a Xiaomi 13 pro user. I recently updated to hyper os 2.1.While using the phone, suddenly I noticed a pink line. There is no free replacement policy by mi and they are charging around 25k for it. My phone has no dents or scratches, so why would I pay for the repair.
Yesterday, I was using my very own Xiaomi 13 Pro at night and I was too disappointed with the performance of it lately. I booted up the device & started to use it and guess what the phone dropped 3% in just 5 minutes, it was warm and was jittery. I don't know what happened to it but l observed the same with the Xiaomi 14 & 15 too. The heat management of these devices aren't that good.
When I say heat it means it's not warm it's legit hot. I was unable to hold the device even in an AC room. The only thing which makes me keep it are the cameras, else I don't see any reason to use it nowadays.
I still hope things get better.
XIAOMI 13 PRO LINE ISSUE
🫵 20 Days of Struggle and Xiaomi’s Inaction
20 days and my Xiaomi 13 Pro line issue isn’t solved! I’ve tweeted, called customer care multiple times, visited a service center—no updates despite proving everything. My premium phone is unusable! @s_anuj
@geekyranjit Sir, mass users of Xiaomi 13 pro are getting pink lines after update. Xiaomi isn't listening to us and charging around 25k for display replacement. Regularly the cases are increasing.
Can you please help us by informing and raising the issue.🙏
Thank you.
@jatlasivasai Bro it's a mass issue. Many users have got it.
We have made a group in WhatsApp and we are protesting together. Message me on x, I will give the link.

@MiIndiaSupport "After an Android security patch March 2025 updating my Xiaomi 13 Pro, a pink line appeared on the display. Service center quoted ₹24,000 for the repair. This clearly seems like a hardware issue triggered by the update. Very disappointed
@XiaomiIndia
@feminalbert@XiaomiIndia@sandeep9sarma Yeah many many users are facing the same.
So we all are protesting against them.
How disgusting they can be to make this mistake and not hear their premium customers?
Completely their fault. But still nothing from them.
@feminalbert@XiaomiIndia@sandeep9sarma First of all they are not giving that much discount to many of the users who got the problem
Secondly, why would we pay for a problem that has happened due to them?
What phone are they making that is getting pink line under 2 years?
@MiIndiaSupport@XiaomiIndia They are not helping guys.
They are just delaying everything by saying this and that and at last they are saying that it will be chargeable.
Issue due to their fault and we have to suffer for it.
@MiIndiaSupport@RevantYalla@XiaomiIndia Everyone who are looking to buy Xiaomi devices, just look at how they are treating their premium customers.
Pink line came after update, but they are not providing any relief to us.
I have been xiaomi user since 2016 but now trust broken never buying xiaomi phones or any device again my 13 pro phone got pink line after update without any damages and service centre charging 25k this is bulshit @XiaomiIndia@MiIndiaSupport@Xiaomi
