Could the COVID vaccine affect menstrual cycles? Many women report changes in their menstrual cycle after receiving the vaccine, while there's no heavy research yet, symptoms appear to be temporary. Have you experience changes?

@Deepika72968984 @npvcu @HPEX353_1 I agree, however with not enough research there's no absolute answer, hormone response can be altered to some extent from vaccination(s) (usually due to stress on the immune system), which I think can affect the menstrual cycle, as stress does play a role in regulation.
@nooratari_@HPEX353_1 I’ve experienced a change in my menstrual cycle after getting the vaccine, and if more women have seen changes as well, then I hope more research is done on this trend.
This was really informative for me because I noticed changes in my emotions/hormones after getting my second dose of the vaccine! I felt more anxious and had changes in my menstrual cycle. I didn’t think they were correlated but this changed my mind!
@lynnmariesmith@HPEX353_1 That's really interesting, I experienced very similar symptoms after my second shot as well... my period was very long, painful, and much earlier than it was supposed to come. Thank you for sharing!
@nooratari_@HPEX353_1 Started a second period in the same month after second Pfizer shot. Heavy and painful and LONG. Currently on day16 😭 have always been regular and I’m glad to find others who are experiencing same. Went to gyno on Friday and gp today as I’m feeling weak and probably anemic.
@abdeza09@HPEX353_1 I completely agree, I know personally the pandemic had an effect on my overall mood and mental health. A lot of people endured a lot of loss and in general it never hurts to be a nice person. :) Thanks for sharing!
It’s important to be nicer to people during this time because you don’t know the pandemic has effected everyone’s mental health. What do you guys think? #HRD#HPEX353_1@HPEX353_1
@DianaBAlvarado @HPEX353_1 For vegetarian eaters or those with dietary restrictions, some great sources of iron that don't require meat are lentils, chia seeds, kale, and even fortified breakfast cereal.
#HRD@HPEX353_1#HPEX353_1 did you ever notice how you get bloated after a workout? It is completely normal! Please read this small article and tell me an interesting thing you read. https://t.co/758nLDQA5I
