Not sure we can compete with Martin Belam's dog on the Guardian one, but we're liveblogging the 68th and possibly final Eurovision if you fancy it https://t.co/RGh9tujx9i
Hello. I'm not around here very often anymore - it's nicer over on Bluesky (same name there).
I also don't blog very often, but... I'm going to put on a tin hat and have a go at liveblogging Eurovision v Too Much Reality this evening https://t.co/RGh9tujx9i
Rooting for our pal, Graeme Thomson, running the #LondonMarathon2024 in support of a dear man, John Brandham, who was a road crew member for @suedeHQ & @ThePretendersHQ b4 suffering a debilitating stroke a few years ago. Help him hit his goal! #bbcmarathon https://t.co/SA7snTZChN
@sophiamcoutts @Telegraph I know this is dull, but: Wren stopped using the dancing couple ads a month or two back, and the dancing car ad is a person who has sold their car, not bought one. It suggests that Keith isn't really paying attention to the ads anyway, which makes his ire even odder.
There was something very odd in the PM’s speech last night - something which infuses RE in the primary school curriculum too: the idea that everyone in this country is religious in one way or another, when we know from polls that over half the population is not religious. 1/7
Dear @O2 as this is the only way you seem to engage with me: You have still not reimbursed the £300 owed to my mother as she was scammed whilst in hospital for stomach surgery due to bowel cancer. 1/
@AndrewSparrow small but significant typo on your 4pm entry changes the meaning: "SNP says Hoyle has 'broken his word' by now allowing emergency debate on Gaza" (should be NOT allowing?)
Hey @RicHolden I'm a people. And I've just heard you on Times Radio - unedited, and unclipped - and your refusal to engage with the misrepresentation clip on your Twitter feed is disgraceful, and damaging. To your party, and to the nation.
You know it’s all over when you walk into the foyer of the Live Aid musical and are edged out the way by a photographer trying to take a shot of Arlene Phillips. Oh the irony 🤦♂️
@Conservatives One day, you're saying "politicians are facing threats and we should all be more careful in how we behave", then the next you pull shit like this. You know the truth of this, and that you haven't deleted is rancid. https://t.co/PJDjIS4n9i
When you say “my parents worked hard to give me a good education” you’re saying two things.
• State education, which I am in charge of, is bad and should be avoided at all costs.
• If you’re a parent who can’t afford to do that, you aren’t working hard enough for your kids.
