During this time of social distancing, many things have had to change. One of them is the way we can meet with each other. We have decided to try what a lot of us have got used to in the past few weeks: an online meeting! So, get ready to fire up your computer!

Also, steering committee elections will have to be postponed. Our by laws say the voting must be in person and the votes on paper ballots. It is the only vote described this way. So if you are interested in being on the steering committee, let me know! There’s still time!

So the last couple weeks have been unprecedented & unpresidented in our experience.Yesterday’s news seems like it was light years ago, & today’s goes by so fast.There are so many moving parts to keep track of. For instance, donyou remember there was an election just last week?

Looking ahead, we are anticipating the May meeting may also have to be cancelled. We are considering ways we may be able to hold an online meeting, and we will keep you informed as we make decisions.

It seems so long ago. Our world is changing. There are changes for NDFA, as well. April meeting of NDFA has been cancelled. Chief O’Neill’s is closed under gubernatorial directive, and we must stay home under Executive Order #8.
