@jonatanpallesen It’s 80% of that population that are ACCUSED of committing crimes… probably with the remaining 20% committing crimes that people haven’t accused them of yet
Does regular depression make evolutionary sense?
I do believe that both regular and postpartum depression can often probably be treated through things like nutrition and sun exposure and adequate hydration— I wonder if this is not about evolution so much as that bodies need certain things to be functional and if they don’t receive those things, they are not as functional. Why can’t PPD be not an evolutionary thing, but a normal human body response to a huge hormone crash without the sufficient sleep, nutrition, sunlight, hydration, vitamins and minerals to handle it? Like what if the evolution aspect here is that bodies have evolved to have big problems if their basic body needs are not met—and many new mothers are not having their basic body needs met after birth to help them cope with huge hormone shifts?
I know SO many qualified and hardworking pioneer stock Utahns who have been let go and cannot find work. They are taking jobs as substitute bus drivers just because it’s SOMETHING, even though it is not nearly enough to provide for their families. I find it impossible to believe you are sponsoring this bill because you care about the current inhabitants of Utah. It sounds to me like you are trying to replace your current constituency with one that will owe you something.
@GiffLasta She needs this book ASAP: https://t.co/w0CJH2PUDD
I bet it would help a lot. She can't make him change but she can change herself in ways that help him see her differently in this situation.
@Jam1377 They inherited the clannishness and tribalism from one side and the intelligence to see which part of themselves to be tribal in favor of from the other side
I look at all new law enforcement tech through the lens of COVID.
“How would this have been used during COVID?”
So, how do we think Flock would have been used when most people were scared retarded enough to want me imprisoned or dead for not wearing a mask?
What if the illegal alien is not working hard, and is instead living off welfare paid for by actual citizens?
What if they are working hard but under the table, not paying taxes?
What if they are working hard and paying taxes, but only because they are paying a stolen social security number (like mine—this happened to me)?
Are you in favor of swift deportation in those cases?
My understanding is that she was going to wrap the dough around the two sticks to cook it, like Cree bannock. Basically you take your dough, wrap it around the stick, and hold it over the fire to cook it. You don’t eat the stick or burn it—its function is to be the cooking skewer.
If you believe a foreign government can sail a hospital ship to the edge of US territorial waters, deliver a hundred babies to foreign moms, then promptly sail back to a foreign port, and that every one of those babies is American for life, you don’t believe in nationhood at all.
I'm really confused about how Mitch McConnell is allowed to be dead and still occupy his Kentucky seat in congress.
He either passed, or he's not fit to serve anymore. It's sad, but that's life
We can't just have a ghost in the Senate. Why is the @GOP avoiding this issue
Solution to the homeless problem: incarceration for anyone found sleeping outside, unless they have applied for and acquired a "wandering philosopher" license, which comes with it the duty to engage passers-by in dialogue about matters of virtue, knowledge, and the state.
