@kagelosaurus@SmokeMath since k vanishes from P(Pk loses round) isn’t the proof automatic from there? you showed that every player has equal odds to lose any given round so the game must be fair
@ReshyShira@Fruggingfrogg@OtzdarvaYT what’s with this entitlement that you think every strategy should be able to win? you have to prepare for the bosses you see, that’s how spire 1 worked and if anything doormaker is the only act 3 boss that actually makes meaningful demands.
@bigtimejerma@OtzdarvaYT aight chill man. the first game spent a year getting balanced in early access and there were still a few balance patches post release. we’re only one major balance patch into spire 2 and they’re still working on way way more content. balance ain’t easy. also git gud
@priduz pretty sure the second one is inconsistent outside of the corner. you can do otg 2H instead for midscreen throw but it does become hella backdashable
@SarazamT@RedactedDeGen@felpix_ you understand that people often pursue English to study English writers like shakespeare or dickens, yes? if someone majored in French, they will have perhaps read Hugo or Proust? so if someone wanted to study, say, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, what do you think they would major in?
@SarazamT@RedactedDeGen@felpix_ this is such a non-argument lmao. Even PhDs in foreign languages often write their papers in English because English is the lingua de franca of academia. again the point of a Spanish major isn’t to learn Spanish, it’s to study Spanish speakers and writers and artists.
@SarazamT@RedactedDeGen@felpix_ there’s no point in this conversation if you don’t even understand what it means to study Spanish as a major at a university. A Spanish major studies Spanish art, literature, and culture; learning the language is the prerequisite. You’d understand this if you just read the link
@SarazamT@RedactedDeGen@felpix_ you literally cannot even choose the subject as a major at Princeton without meeting certain language requirements or completing a placement test
Why are you pretending these degrees are meaningless? just look at the requirements for the major https://t.co/gMN6XJCcfp
@Junnigonz@V87Cyber@tv5834472@jonathan_tene people are exaggerating. there’s truth in that a lot of Pokémon benefited hugely from tera and as a result gen 9 ou has I think the most bans of any gen but its current state is pretty stable and varied and tera allows for a lot of interesting offensive and defensive play
@RedactedDeGen@huebound@felpix_ mate you thought studying spanish at Princeton meant learning the language, you’re already dead in the water
having trouble with taxes is like the most universal American experience, you’re just upset that the kid isn’t white
racist and stupid I hope your mother’s proud of you
