Amazon's Ring debuted a feature at Super Bowl LX called Search Party.

it uses AI to find lost pets by scanning footage from cameras across your entire neighborhood.

it was enabled by default.

meaning every Ring camera in your neighborhood was already scanning for your lost dog before you knew the feature existed. your neighbor's camera. the one across the street. all of them. sharing footage across a neighborhood-wide AI network. automatically.

Ring already had integrations with Flock Safety and Axon giving police access to footage for ICE and CBP operations.

Search Party added a second layer: private homes scanning each other's streets by default, with footage processed by Amazon's AI, on Amazon's servers, under Amazon's terms of service.

@CharlesFLehman Almost every other suburb of Phoenix has come forward and admitted officers have misused the system. So "no evidence" most likely means "no investigation".
