A week after Colombian activist and influencer Beto Coral was detained in his home in Phoenix, Arizona by federal agents from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), his family raises fears that the US seeks to deport him without respecting due process.
In a memo signed by Secretary of State Marco Rubio last Tuesday, he declared Coral to be "deportable" arguing that his presence "undermines US foreign policy interests".
Coral's family told BT that in the past week, after revoking his work permit and detaining him, he has been moved around to multiple detention centers without warning and been subjected to physical and psychological torture aimed at forcing him to sign deportation orders under duress.

Mexico and Brazil are the last two progressive holdouts in Latin America right against the new Trumpian right and the War on Drugs as a war to dismantle Latin American sovereignity and hand over the reigns of power to Imperial Miami
