Lo mismo ocurre en los esports y la respuesta que se me ocurre y siempre respondo es: exposición.

A ver, en los esports no está prohibido que los equipos sean mixtos o que un equipo de solo mujeres participe, pero si vemos los números está claro que es poco probable que estos equipos o clasifiquen a los grandes torneos o tenga la exposición que merecen.

La razón para hacer torneos únicamente de mujeres en deportes donde el físico no es lo más importante es para que ellas tengan si o si una vitrina donde competir además de estar dentro de lo que podríamos llamar un "ambiente seguro".

Este hecho más que deportivo es un tema cultural que requiere de mucho más análisis del que se puede dar en un simple tweet.
