and no donβt tell me the tech is going to be developed anyway; we can make AI and AI tools without building and promoting those with explicitly nefarious purposes
the underlying models (which he didnβt build) are remarkable, but this product has zero positive uses
censorship is the easy part
whatβs really dystopian is when innumerable human-passing bots sway public opinion by appearing to be the majority, or when fake photos/videos become inseparable from reality
are we prepared for a trust-less society?
it is very easy to end up in a world where ai is censoring wrongthink cheaply at unprecedented scales. the smarter it gets the more precise a weapon can be employed
We keep track of everything in Excel and it works fine but it's just annoying to maintain. Would love for a service to handle natural language or images -- upload a screenshot of the subscription tiers and then have it convert.
Has anyone built a cost-mangement tracker for startups? To keep track of all the subscriptions and monthly costs, handle the piecewise functions of different tiers based on user count, etc. Would love to know what my cost per user will be as we scale (without doing it in excel).
I'm someone who time-blocks to stay productive.
But I hated having to manually enter each event. So much easier to just jot it down in Apple Notes.
So I made something that brought those two together: a notes-like entry that placed the events right on my calendar.
So I take it weβll need some sort of hardware-level proof system to authenticate image/video capture, and assume everything else is fake? Still failing to see what this and the voice cloning accomplish other than improved scams and more dead internet.
where we are with ai today:
