Watching rapid intensification of the cell northeast of Paragould near Marmaduke. Potential cell merger to the south, or an interaction with the QLCS soon. If there was a storm in the area I'd be worried about, it's this one. @ryanvaughan @NWSMemphis

@CameronJNixon as a young chaser myself, seeing something like 4/27/24 in Holdenville and Sulphur, can sometimes be a shock. I almost sometimes feel like now, a lot of chasers are so enthralled in the storms themselves, that we forget what these do to people. Different sides of the same coin.

If he was the best driver he would’ve stayed the best driver throughout the season. Jimmie only won a championship in the final 4 format once. The rest in the chase.

I’m worried, but a few things need to fall in place first.
Low lapse rates could call this event a close before it even starts. With low lapse rates, and other limiting factors, severe storms tomorrow could potentially not even form as they’re forecasted. (1/?) #wx #mswx

This could change, however. Merger cells could potentially keep lapse rates higher, and heating on the ground could also help.
The parameters for tomorrow are incredibly high, but there’s a few potential limiting factors, one being what I just listed. (2/3) #wx #mswx
