No wonder the reports suggest of stress at sea. This can happen with anyone. Seafarers are the most neglected community and very few of our own stand during crisis.

When a #seafarer is at sea, he is not just operating a ship; he is carrying the dreams of his family and contributing to the nation's trade. But when that same seafarer finds himself in crisis, the biggest question is does the seafaring community stand by one of its own?

Today, Captain Ajay Pant's family is going through such a difficult time. His wife continues to fight with hope for justice. At a time like this, if we, the seafarers, do not become the voice of our fellow seafarer, then who will?

This is not the time to remain silent or merely watch on social media. It is the time to stand united. We appeal to all seafarers, masters, captains, engineers, ratings, maritime organizations, and retired seafarers to come forward and support their fellow seafarer and his family.

Our objective is not to blame anyone, but to ensure that Captain Ajay Pant's case receives a fair, transparent, and compassionate review, and that his family is given hope for justice.

Marine Tanks has stood with the Pant family from day one and continues to extend every possible support within its capacity. Now, it is time for the entire Indian seafaring community to stand together as one family. Because if we do not raise our voices for one of our own today, another seafarer's family may find themselves standing alone tomorrow.
