Irish Olympic champion Kellie Harrington fought Imane Khelif in the last Olympics and won. Everyone tweeting now about how Khelif is 'really a man beating up women in the ring' (she isn't) has likely never watched a moment of women's boxing in their lives.

Alexis Mac Allister on Enzo Fernández case:
"You have to be careful with what you say or do, especially in Europe where they are much more sensitive than here. The reality is that we are not a racist country; we are not used to talking about racism so much.
"Yes, it's a very important topic, obviously. Enzo has already apologized and explained what happened. I don't think there's much more to say. We know Enzo, we know he would never do it with bad intentions, he's not that guy, he's not racist.
"It's just a chant that got stuck and is more of a mocking tone than anything else. But, as I said, you have to be very careful.
"I think the most important thing is that Enzo came out, gave the corresponding apologies, and that, in the end, should be valued." @UrbanaPlayFM
@LeeFMc83 @johnkel99 It is, a grown man trying to fight a professional athlete. Embarrassing. Only falling short of saying: Anyone who knows me knows a Lee promise is a real promise.
He looks exactly as Jack Lynch of Dublin drinking 20 pints of Guinness should look. I mean, this photo is the platonic fucking ideal of Jack Lynch of Dublin drinking 20 pints of Guinness. And I hope his record still stands.
The elusive Everton boss continued to thumb his nose at the authorities, swaggering about in a garish new track suit, he seemed to be saying "look at me, Premier League, I have a new track suit"
Dominic Calvert-Lewin tonight stepped on to that pitch with next to no training since Sunday, a strapped up knee (that was touch and go until the day of the game) plus then going down with a stomach bug. What a display from Everton’s number 9 🔵
