@OilHeadlineNews How much do you think the Trump administration paid the guy to say that? The only way we see $40 oil anytime soon is if we’re in a massive economic crisis.
@MichelleMaxwell Crude oil is going down but refining costs are at all time highs. Gasoline is correlated to crude oil prices but they aren’t the same thing
@Manhattva XAI isn’t even real, all the top employees quit and they are renting all their compute to Anthropic. The only reason Musk is pretending it’s still real is for the SpaceX IPO.
@aeberman12 Man I am so confused about this whole situation. In the same day I see an article about how China is continuing their oil buyers strike, one about how tanker rates are plummeting and ship traffic normalizing, and now this. How can there be such confusion on basic facts?
@VerumVulnero1 That’s only true because boomers vote in much higher percentages than younger generations. If you said most Americans instead of most voters you would be wrong
@WallStreetMav She assimilated to the corruption culture of Congress quite well I would say. She did say she assimilated to Congress not to US culture so I would say that’s a pretty accurate statement
@rickjeff78 If he had even a sliver of honor he would but I think he’ll just continue to lie through his teeth and blame everyone but himself. Maybe if we get to the point that the world is in a massive depression he might resign
@matthewstoller I think you underestimate the scale of government waste. $100 billion is chump change for the US government. We’re spending 3 times that just as ransom money to the Iranian regime.
@rickjeff78 I’ve never been “MAGA faithful” but I’m on the right and previously reluctantly supported Trump as the least bad option but I am squarely in camp #2. The Iran war was the last straw for me, I think he should be impeached for it.
@adamtaggart@unusual_whales It shows how dumb the market is right now that it took this long for people to realize that microchip costs exploding is bad for companies that need to buy a lot of microchips.
@CassandraRules The only people it would hurt is large investors which is why he doesn’t want to do it. Lower home prices only helps people who use homes for shelter instead of investment because even if you own a home you’ll sell it for less but then buy your next home for less as well
@MrGlobal2025 So many people don’t have even the most cursory understanding of how the oil market works and unfortunately President Trump is one of them.
