Well done to our well organised friends at Woodland Trust Scotland on Saturday for #BigClimateFightback#EveryTreeCounts. Pleasure to join others in crisp sunshine at beautiful Kinclaven bluebell wood, and help plant the first 3500 native trees to extend this wonderful woodland.
We visited @CastleKennedyGs in #Stranraer. We met w/ @scotforestry, Blebo Tree Surgery + site owners to look at work done to conserve #tree health & improve visitor experience. It's good to see #biosecurity measures in place there. It's well worth a visit! https://t.co/yKp3ALZNNg
Thank you @mountstuart for hosting our annual networking day! We were treated to a tour of the #arboretum & speakers shared #tree + site mgmt by season, funding opportunities, @RBGE_ICCP, & possible climate change resilience and adaptation in forestry. https://t.co/XDpAUhOmAZ
@VisitScotland@Outlander_STARZ Besides being rather stunning, Castle Leod also has a long association w/ #tree planting, including the famous Spanish or Sweet Chestnut (Castanea sativa) planted in 1550 for Mary Queen of Scots' mother, Mary of Guise. https://t.co/FbjGZ7l7u0 🌳
It was great to see our networking event in the @pressjournal yesterday. Thanks again to @CrathesNTS for hosting us and everyone who attended the day.

Happy birthday to the National Tree Collections of Scotland, which turned 7 yesterday! 😁🎉🎂 We had a great time out at Dunkeld House Hotel (a NTCS site) walking the tree trail there with Doug partly to celebrate the day and partly to check out the route. https://t.co/N7PkkaH8tM
