@carolvorders Daily Mail appears to have lifted their explanation from a 2016 Mind Your Decisions YouTube video by Presh Talwalkar. I thought ‘do the brackets first’ meant ‘do the stuff inside the brackets’, does it officially extend to include a factor outside the brackets? Is Presh wrong?

[Nick Groves @ntg1203]

@carolvorders I can understand the ambiguity. My old school calculator and my son’s GCSE one evaluate as 1 with the more recent one adding extra brackets to show workings as 6/(2(1+2)). Google evaluates to 9 showing workings as (6/2)*(1+2). If you need to rely on the L to R rule, add more ()s

@Mother_of_dakka @daraobriain The cock luck house, also? Although that’s based on a little understanding of Swedish rather than Norwegian.

It’s what Eminem did when he bought Cage's tape, opened it and dubbed over it

[I❤️Nostalgia '𝕏' @Ilovenostalgia]

Do you know why?

[Nick Groves @ntg1203]

@MostynField As always the lightest in the boat, 1 rowing was ‘Bow’ to me so ‘Bowy’ was all I had. He might have been near the Kit Kat club but not the kitchen!

[Nick Groves @ntg1203]

@matthewcpinsent I’ve had that before - it was code for ‘lobbed over the gate’

[Nick Groves @ntg1203]

@hdsn79 @NoContextBrits Are you ripping the piss out of The Fury?

[Nick Groves @ntg1203]

@GeraintThomas86 @Pinarello_com I hesitate to offer G tips on learning to ride a bike… but observations from our 3 kids learning (1) weight is super important, get an aluminium frame (2) stabilisers don’t help you learn to ride, a balance bike first is a much better route. (3) Frog bikes served us well.

@nadams5755 @Enno_Insinuator Hopefully that's not why my MacBook Pro is setting the date to 8 Feb 2022 via https://t.co/esNcaSNYB4 right now!

[Nick Groves @ntg1203]

Super, super Richie Benaud reference that @mcewenrobbie @gnctweet ‘Pogacar back at two for twenty two’. Which jacket are you wearing today, the yellow, the lemon, the saffron or the canary?

[Nick Groves @ntg1203]

@SportsOrla Someone once said “If you are holding out for universal popularity, I'm afraid you will be in this cabin for a very long time” - you do a cracking job anchoring your 3 pundits and creating a dynamic that layers fun and entertainment on top of insight and analysis. Keep going!

[Nick Groves @ntg1203]

@Alicelevine Did you call this a ‘French Exit’ on your podcast? We have a friend who does this and we call it ‘doing a Claypole’ after Mr Claypole from Rentaghost. Bit niche and possibly before your time?

[Nick Groves @ntg1203]

@NunoFQueimado @HamiltonWestEnd Good ‘blue steel’ on your first entrance down the stairs

[Nick Groves @ntg1203]

@ZadeJeffrey @al_oats Quite right too, the singular is ice lolly

[Nick Groves @ntg1203]

@iaintucker @eviltoepick @al_oats Now, if they were in all a bag…

[Nick Groves @ntg1203]

@chrisbrooke That's what they tell you in middle school then at college they be like...

[Nick Groves @ntg1203]

Completely agree - whole family watched season 1 together - it was great. Season 2 we didn’t make it past the first ad break. Shame they don’t offer the choice.

[Stu @StusReviewsUK]

@AmazonHelp 👁👄👁 that’s precisely the point.
I don’t want ‘ad supported’. I want you to include it in the ad free membership I already pay for with prime…

[Nick Groves @ntg1203]

@mikegalsworthy It’s the brill of the people, init?

[Nick Groves @ntg1203]

@matthewcpinsent What did you think of the photos? ;)

[Nick Groves @ntg1203]

@JCautomatic Maybe I should take the mic...
