@BenSasse I'll be honest, Ben, I don't know much about how you governed, the way you voted, or your reputation when you represented our country. But seeing the way you've represented yourself, your family, and your savior during this time makes me wish we had more of you, regardless.
@markwooster@ScottGustin It's Cinderella Castle, not Cinderella's castle. It's a common malapropism that Disney fans correct. Disney's CEO should know that. https://t.co/oCgUUzr9el
@JennMGreenberg@ryanburge@lumby2vernon It's irrelevant in this poll. If you blended them (and assumed that there were an equal number of white and non-white evangelicals) then the number drops to 43% for all evangelicals for example. They probably wanted to show the evangelical group with the highest percentage.
“There are no maverick molecules in the universe.”
Haven’t seen a conversation like this—intellectual, philosophical, big picture—on tv in decades. It’s incredible.
@PatrickHenry_II@varadmehta@KurtSchlichter If you haven't seen anything conservative from him, you haven't been looking. Just because he's not "pure" enough for your tastes doesn't mean he hasn't regularly stood up for conservative principles.
@JohnCleese Oh, John...
It took 20 seconds of research to see that this isn't TR. Please don't be another conspiracy theory voice out there... heaven knows we have enough of them.
@EithanHaim Please, stop. They are human, not animals, and as vile as you think they are - allowing yourself to label them as such is the first step toward how we got here. The man that pulled the trigger believed the same thing about Charlie, and we must stop it. Now.
Hey @CelebrityCruise, just left our first cruise with you. We were charged $150 for “Mini Bar”. We had nothing in our mini bar when we boarded. I called and was told this was “fairly common” and the card would be refunded, but it will take 7-14 days. Is that your policy?
@alitaylor Your stress says to me that you should probably have an advisor. Choosing investments is a small part of the value. It's the planning, unbiased viewpoint, and calm in a storm that offers real value. Stopping you from doing something stupid once pays for a lifetime of an advisor.
@catuskotic @BrianFeroldi You can't mitigate for every risk, just the most likely. If this is a genuine fear, there is insurance that can be purchased but it is often cost-prohibitive, in which case you just assume a certain degree of risk and adapt if it happens.
@theassetcolumn @BrianFeroldi Just make sure that you're considering the cost of that peace of mind. If you are increasing your emergency fund by $40k and you're giving up around 5% of growth potential then you are paying $2,000/yr for a bit more peace of mind. As long as that's worth it for you, then great!
@DavidAFrench Hmm. I was actually encouraged by this. How many kids do you think have parents in the 99.9th % that are trying to get into elite schools? A few thousand? And they're only 2x as likely to be admitted? Isn't the overwhelming majority even, with a slight benefit to poorer kids?
