I was going through recent progress and onchain activity for OpenCatz today and caught something really interesting.

A holder seems to have deployed on a platform called @UseNosh.

If you haven't seen them yet, it's a memecoin launchpad where creator fees do one thing: buy the floor of an NFT collection and hand the NFTs to the coin's holders. It runs on Robinhood Chain on top of Pons V2, with contracts handling the parts you would normally have to trust a personal wallet for.

So far, two tickers have been launched and paired with the OpenCatz collection.

Between those two launches, the contracts have generated 1.2 ETH total in creator fees, buying back 275 OpenCatz NFTs off the floor and distributing them directly to holders.

To me, this is a great example of a positive CTO dynamic. No central team coordination was required. A community member found a protocol they liked, decided to plug it into the collection, and created real onchain activity.

When holders take the initiative to experiment with new protocols and mechanics for their NFTs, the whole ecosystem benefits.
