@WizardsMuse1@davidaldridgedc Pundits that just don’t know anything about a topic are welcome to just pass on commenting. Aldridge’s research is obviously groggily watching a random video and settling on the first comp he thought of since he hasn’t been paying attention all year but it’s draft season.
@hoopstonite What if he has multiple foundational traits? Highest IQ in the draft, best passing big in the draft, best shooting big in the draft. Like ??? WTF you saying? Is confidence all that’s required to get in this space?
@ArtTakesNote WTF? First off, KG was known for his jumpshot. Secondly, you simply cannot have a KG comp if you’re not a maniac and a defensive monster. It’s like saying a guard that sucks at shooting “could be Steph Curry.” Just asinine beyond belief.
@davidjsmith1232 I think Flip is the most likely to stay if they don’t draft Boozer. JJJ subbing early to come back in with the bench would make an excellent pairing with Flip. We can use his big-man passing, he showed growth as a defender, and he’s on the cusp of being a legit shooter.
@davidjsmith1232 Do you mean ‘26-‘27? In any event, I think the Jazz should and may consolidate Brice and one or two other players into a draft asset or two this year to reset the rookie-scale clock and draft for fit. I got my eye on Jaden Bradley and Ugonna Onyenso (Kessler insurance?).
@SamQuinnCBS And yet, bringing Castle off the bench would be silly. You don’t bring ace defenders off the bench.
I wonder if they just play all three to start games just to check the “starter” box for all three but one is an early sub out.
If the Jazz draft Cameron Boozer, they can do a bunch of stuff to get him minutes, but they would only be able to bring him off the bench for so long before real issues start percolating. I really like Boozer, but I also love the Jazz frontcourt (with Kessler).
@cenkuygur Fuck all the way off. In what universe is getting dragged into an unwinnable war by Israel, then surrendering and paying 300 billion in reparations something to give credit for? You have lost your mind.
@danclayt0n I’ve thought about Ayton/Vanderbilt as the matching salary which lines up with roughly $30 million signing. That would mean that the Lakers would have to send some pretty substantial draft assets (which is tenable in my mind because the Lakers would still have real capspace left)
