@royalserin I use the roasting technique that Kenji Lopez-Alt covers in this video all the time! The beets come out flavorful and sweet! https://t.co/UapJMxpuV0
Across the eight most commonly named main sources for political and election news, NPR and The New York Times stand out in their appeal among younger Americans. https://t.co/bnZOzus6w6
@abbykatkc@kevinklink@FrischPlan@JoshBoehm@MattCalcara I definitely want to learn how to contribute to ideas such as this. Is the intent of the Incremental Development Alliance aligned with this sentiment? https://t.co/8BLF0L0apP
@energysmartohio @ProtoGenEnergy I'm curious, @energysmartohio - did this work out for you or did you find a different method to do your calculations for solar cash flow and payback?
@erogers Interesting move by the provider group. However, one of the primary impediments to adoption and innovation of telehealth is lack of reimbursement. There's definitely a need and a place for it in the healthcare system and our current reality is healthcare practices are businesses.
@staubio I'll add to my list, looking for perspective and language to better understand the concept, sentiments, and stigma. Your response had me excited at the prospect of your upcoming book on arguments of modern urbanism! Alas, I think I may have to settle for threads on Twitter.
Wow. @NPR's @NPRKelly just now on @npratc says @SecPompeo was furious about being questioned about Ukraine in her interview. Took her into his office, cursed at her, dropping f-bombs, made her point to Ukraine on an unmarked map (she did). It's just...shocking.
So the #Superbowl this year is the @49ers and the Kansas City @Chiefs.
As a former Sports Editor, and as a Native American journalist, I have a few things to say about this #AppropriationBowl.
First, the Chiefs are not honoring Native people. I'll explain in a #Thread.
@ThomasinKC @downtownkc Do we know of any political efforts to incorporate plan adherence into qualifications for tax abatement or other development incentives? It seems like a straightforward way to align tools with strategy.
@kevinklink I'd be interested in the kinds of interactions that have led to changes of opinion. I learn a lot by observing exchanges between individuals in certain circles on social media. But overall finding quality exchanges are rare and really only a gateway to meaningful discussion IRL.
@ruandamcf @staubio This was my experience as well when I saw it this summer in KC and I have no regrets. Having the show as my initial exposure gave me a great reference point. Either way, you're going to want to keep listening to the music many additional times!
Seems to be some interest in #NorthKC’s Armour Road Complete Street Plan lately. You can read the entire plan online at https://t.co/VSV8MU8ETX.
Plan was approved by City Council on 12/05/17 & formally adopted on 1/04/18.
“The president hasn’t used racist language,” Adam Kennedy said in defense of racist language President Trump used on Twitter.
@NoelKing asked the deputy director of communications if he thought the remarks would resonate with white nationalists, but Kennedy evaded her questions.
@davidhudnall@kcur@godowntownkc@KCTenants Not seeing a real issue here. The segment on @kcurCST was a valuable exchange for listeners. @cityscenekc was introduced as a commentator, as he is listed on the @kcur website as a free lance contributor. I would expect different language if he were employed as a reporter.
