John Denver - a staunch progressive that actively fundraised his entire life for anti-war, poverty relief, and environmental protection - would hate guys like you lol
Commercial advertising, product placements, and corporate-sponsored promotions are explicitly prohibited on national parklands. The White House lawn is a unit of the National Park System. It also violates standard Anti-Vending and Solicitation Laws as well as misuse of public funds and government endorsement ethics. Everything this administration does spits in the face of our laws. Everything is a grift.

NEW: Multiple ICE warehouses were sold by people in Trump's circle who were sitting on the properties and losing money.
We dug into it, and found that some properties were bought by the feds for 10x their list price.
It's a new level of corruption — and you're paying for it.
This is so corrupt that the lawyers who crafted this should be disbarred & removed, the acting AG who signed it should be disbarred & removed, and the president who orchestrated it all should be impeached & removed & finally at long last made irrelevant.
Staggering corruption
But he’s not currently a "private citizen"….he is currently the Secretary of Defense that is also currently in the middle of a war….this is another major violation of the Hatch Act by the Trump administration
I simply could not imagine being in congress and staying silent as Trump builds a slush fund of $1.776 (cute right… 1776) billion dollar slush fund for insurrrectionists.
What are these people even there for?
History will be brutal to them. And their kids will be embarrassed
This is staggering in both its corruption and the incentive it creates to do illegal things on Trump’s behalf knowing you can get both a pardon and a payout.
Last thing for tonight on redistricting: Even if you think that each of these decisions is legally correct on the merits (which I don't), the effect of all of this is that black representation in the South will be returning to pre-Civil Rights levels, and also there's a stronger chance that the true democratic will of the electorate will be suppressed.
That equilibrium is morally bad and also seems to me to be unsustainable in the long-run, and might drive us to some really dark places.
I'm actually not one of those "we have to pack the courts and make DC a State" guys, because I think ultimately an endless tit for tat is bad for everyone.
But on the other hand, Republicans are benefitting so much from the way the system is set up now, that they will cling on to and protect this status quo until the system turns against them.
It would be great if they agreed to a bipartisan set of playing conditions at a national level, but they won't as long as they keep winning all of these cases.
The damage from a reactionary Supreme Court:
Citizens United allows billionaires to buy elections.
Ending Roe v. Wade takes away a woman's right to control her body.
Louisiana v. Callais strips voting rights away from Black Americans.
Our rights are under attack. FIGHT BACK.
