In this chapter, my colleagues report on research that help to identify the type of activities their students undertake with OB3 (see fig. 18.2). Their evidence support our decision to bring content and discussion in one place for enhancing learner engagement and interaction.
OB3 came out on top on learner engagement, data ownership and user-friendly interfaces. It surpasses major players in online forum collaboration tools. These are at the core of OB3's UI design (see Gomez & Tamblyn, 2012). It's wonderful to see them turn up in a comparative study.
