@brian_mcbride1@British_Airways It was a decision made at the check-in desk, not the gate, which makes it even more bizzare, especially given that most other passengers had their hand luggage, nor was the flight full as was first claimed.
I paid โฌ2500 for a premium ticket only to be told I can't take my hand luggage, full of vital medication, as the flight 'is full' (BA417). With a short connection to USA, on an already delayed flight, words escape me!
@British_Airways stand by for complaints / Compensation!
@British_Airways I was told it was COMPULSARY to check my bag in. What a shambles and to reiterate, for me, very dangerous. Many many bags double the size I had @British_Airways in lockers, clear as the light of day!
@British_Airways Yes repeatedly Chelsea, at the check in desk to be precise here in Luxembourg. She kept saying, we have been told, no hand luggage as the flight is full! This is not only unacceptable but bloody dangerous!
@British_Airways Hi Cody, it'll be more than an inconvenience mate if there is a mid air emergency where I need my medication! My hand baggage was not large, it was standard size. Do you fly with empty lockers when the plane is full?
@ColitisCrohnsHQ Until last month, my last one was 9 years ago! I've since moved to Germany and my specialist here was horrified...in his words, I was 7 years overdue.

Our sailors stand ready, as ever, to protect our great nation as HMS Dragon departs Portsmouth today. Fair winds!

Yet another @British_Airways shambles at @luxairport this morning. 1.5h to check a bag in, very very slow staff, 1h security with extensive queues (4 scanners for the whole airport). No issues with other carriers. Very stressful & completely unacceptable. ๐

@AuthorKTDunlop@EssexPR@GBNEWS The Fire & Rescue Service CAN strike. The last time was 2002-2003, where the Armed Forces 'back-filled' - I was there!
@EssexPR@GBNEWS Do they not sign or swear some sort of oath? For me, they have a moral obligation, especially when working for public sector / government.
