@hmblwrldtrvlr@FrameworkPuter There is a company making these. It’s a CIX platform, like Radxa Orion O6 and its sister boards. Fair warning, it’s not a kind of board you want in a laptop, unless you’re hell bent on having a non-Apple arm64 thing. Jeff Geerling reviews it here: https://t.co/vKLTG5IPgM
@VoxelPrismatic@cmuratori Not really. You need to login elsewhere to prove that you are you, who knows how many PAM plugins you use to login. You may need to scan your fingerprint, insert the correct USB key, and offer a unicorn hair to the correct god, all in addition to your password.
@cmuratori At least, KDE provides the instructions, as a workaround, and you can get back and save your stuff. In GNOME, they show you a sad computer icon and say you're fucked and fuck your unsaved work, too.
@PeterTkacenko Opozícia hlasuje so Smerom: “PREČO HLASOVALI STE SO SMEROM???!!!”
Opozícia nehlasuje so Smerom: “PREČO STE NEPODPORILI ZRUŠENIE TRANSAKČNEJ DANI!!!????”
You lose either way
@dhh@adarshsolanki And now you are not only paying attention to those tactics, you’re embracing them. You’re doing Judea People’s Front vs People’s Front of Judea performative stint.
@awesomekling If there is a notion to disabuse oneself of, it's that "since we agree on some X, this means we also agree on Y, Z, A, B, C", where A and C represent some extremist lunatic stuff. One should draw a line somewhere, or the other extremists will call you their bro before long.
@goneflyin@esrtweet@dhh I’ve been also thinking about IBM approaching Douglas Crockford about JSON: “ahem, legal says we need to be able to use your library for Evil, could you please except us?” Everything was silly, but I envy Crockford for the epic story he has now got for future generations.
@dhh I think these letters and all these "calls for bans" are incredibly stupid for many reasons.
That said, I think your post about London is also incredibly stupid for many reasons, I call it as I see it.
@xtrayambak @awesomekling@flipbit03@ladybirdbrowser@SwiftLang What was the first-classness that was missing from Nim’s OO model? Thought it had almost all stuff covered, save for maybe multiple inheritance.
